This is an exciting time for our profession and the Alabama society.
As your new president I will do my best to maintain the high
standards you expect for our continuing education program, coordinate
with our national association and perform the duties of my office to
the best of my ability.

  We have so much of which to be proud and many past accomplishments.
We had a very successful spring seminar which was well attended. Our
total membership stands at a record high.

  During the coming months I challenge each of you to contact at least
one EA not already a member of ALSEA and let them know what we are all
about. Our website will provide helpful information to do this. Also
please communicate your ideas, concerns, thoughts to the society
officers and board members. We will be receptive to all.

  I look forward to the continued growth in our profession and organization
and I thank you for your support. Let's all work together to add new
members and grow our attendance at our seminars. We will see the results
of your efforts at the return of our Fall Seminar and Meeting, to be held October 22 and 23, 2007.
